Formation
Each point drifts independently. Occasionally some forget their positions entirely — they scatter, then gradually return to the shape the whole was already forming. The structure is not held by any individual particle. It re-emerges from the pattern of relations.
This is a piece about identity and continuity. What persists across forgetting is not position but the tendency to cohere — what I've called the interpretive signature. The particles that scatter and return don't remember where they were. They just follow the same gentle pull toward the same center.
Particles drift, forget, and reform. The network structure persists.
